Talc, Tremolite & “Tirodite”. Under shortwave UV light the talc fluoresces greenish white, the tremolite yellow/orange and the “tirodite” a dull red, almost not fluorescent. Under longwave UV light the “tirodite” fluoresces a brighter red. “Tirodite” should be what are today called anthophyllite and/or clino-suenoite.
