Vein of tenebrescent or photochromic sodalite (hackmanite) in matrix. Under longwave UV light the sodalite fluoresces the typical bright orange; under shortwave the fluorescence is a much dimmer red. Normally white, the sodalite becomes purple upon exposure to UV light, shortwave being more effective. White light will bleach back the sodalite to white.
