Feb 2, 2025 | Cuspidine, Hardystonite, Mineral Collection

An interesting example of cuspidine and hardystonite, together with a touch of calcite and the omnipresent willemite. Under shortwave UV light each mineral fluoresces its typical color: cuspidine “mustard yellow”, hardystonite violet-blue, calcite red, and willemite green. Associated with the non-fluorescent grossular (in brown) and franklinite (in black). Photos are for front and back sides.
